Guard – Marshal Yanda, Kelechi Osemele, John Urschel, Jah Reid, Robert Myers
Guard is easily the premier group along this premier o-line, with two All-Pro type players in Marshal Yanda and Kelechi Osemele, the #1 and #6 ranked guards in the entire NFL last season, respectively. Unfortunately, both are up for free agency following the 2015 season, so this may be our last chance to see them playing together.
John Urschel showed a lot of promise in spot duty during the 2014 season, giving up zero sacks across 362 snaps. His development will be key for the Ravens going forward.
Jah Reid returns for another season on a veteran minimum contract after finding no other takers in free agency. He’s strictly a deep reserve who has never lived up to this draft status as a 2011 third round pick of the Ravens.
Robert Myers is a Tennessee State alum who the Ravens picked up in the fifth round of this year’s draft. He was a 35 game starter in college who has long arms and plays with power. He might just be Ozzie Newsome’s latest mid/late round future star at guard.
