Baltimore Ravens: Five Reasons Why 2015 Will Be Better Than 2014

Consistency is easily the most difficult thing to achieve in the world of professional football.  Parity makes it so, which is also what makes this such a popular sport.  It is what gives fans of any team hope in the offseason, no matter how poorly their beloved franchises fared in the previous season.  A lucky few are able to compete, year after year.

After reaching the AFC Divisional playoff round in 2014 and falling just a bit short to the eventual champion New England Patriots, you would be forgiven if you are finding improvement hard to come by for the Baltimore Ravens in 2015.  Many teams that made the playoffs last year won’t repeat that feat this year, after all.  Some might not even break the .500 win mark.

But there are a lot of reasons for optimism.  The Ravens are one of those rare teams that is a threat to win the Super Bowl in any given year, and they have only missed the playoffs once in the John Harbaugh/Joe Flacco era.  Despite a number of key losses, the additions made by the Ravens organization this offseason come with a lot of promise.

Turns out, there are quite a few reasons to be optimistic about the coming season.  Here are five in particular that should give Baltimore Ravens fans a lot of hope for an improvement upon last year’s strong finish.
