2014 Production: 235 carries for 1,266 yards (5.4 avg), 8 touchdowns

Justin Forsett was an effective change of pace back who found himself looking for a new team each of the last three offseasons.  Then, Gary Kubiak and the Ravens were forced to unleash the beast when Forsett outplayed everybody on the roster.  What resulted was a nice story and it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.

Even with relatively fresh legs (582 career carries), Forsett is getting ready to turn the dreaded age of 30, which generally signals the beginning of the end for running backs.  Was he a one year wonder?  Was he a product of Gary Kubiak, now gone?  Will he even get the same number of carries in 2015?

That last question is the most tantalizing.  The Ravens appear set to rotate their backs more after drafting pass catcher Javorius Allen.  Lorenzo Taliaferro figures to siphon some work as well.  The Ravens like Justin Forsett, but they are wisely not going to run him into the ground.  Which likely means a drop from last year’s Pro Bowl numbers.
