The Kyle Juszczyk hype train was running full speed last offseason, fed by Gary Kubiak’s obsession with utilizing athletic, H-back types in the passing game.  Juice seemed to be a perfect fit and Kubiak’s endless praise made it appear that he would catch a ton of passes in 2014.

Alas, it didn’t work out that way.  But with a lot of uncertainty in the tight end depth chart, will 2015 be the year we see Juice get loose?  New offensive coordinator Marc Trestman certainly sees the potential.

"“We can move him around and create problems defensively, because when you have a fullback who can line up outside and do different things, you can certainly get coverage declarations, and you can keep teams off balance. This offense has done that in the past. That won’t change in terms of using Kyle in that manner, both lining up in the backfield and being outside.”"

So he’ll be utilized in a similar role, but will he see more passes come his way?  That is the question that remains to be seen.
