Stock down: Asa Jackson
Jackson couldn’t have had a much worse night than he did Thursday. After getting burned for a 28 yard touchdown by Saints receiver Brandon Cooks, he went down with a knee injury. It led to the worst coverage grade on the team.
Jackson didn’t do anything to help himself in the returner competition either, taking 2 kicks back for 17 yards. Luckily for him, Michael Campanaro didn’t fare any better, taking his 1 return for 10 yards.
Jackson is likely on the bubble even if his knee injury isn’t serious. He’s been nothing more than inconsistent and injury prone over the course of his career, and this week was more of the same.
