Stock down: Nick Boyle
Another offseason superstar, Boyle has been better than advertised through minicamp, OTAs, and training camp. His first appearance on the field for an organized game, however, didn’t go so hot.
He certainly had the opportunity. Boyle was targeted seven times, hauling in four of them for 25 yards.
He played on a whopping 49 snaps, the second most of any offensive player. Boyle just didn’t do much with that opportunity.
Boyle allowed a QB hurry in pass protection and wound up with PFF’s seventh worst grade for a Ravens’ offensive player on the night.
When your competition is doing more with less snaps, it isn’t good for your prospects going forward.
