Make no bones about it – the Baltimore Ravens have a lot of tough decisions to make over the next few weeks.  That’s what happens when you successfully build a team laden with talent from smart drafting and unearthing diamonds from the undrafted free agent market.

The first wave of roster cuts generally fields no surprises from any NFL team.  These cuts typically consist of players trying to change positions, fringe NFL prospects, or guys trying to make a comeback after major injuries.

But by the time final cuts roll around, there are always a number of notable names that hit the free agent market.  Teams with lesser talent are then able to give these guys a chance, or they might simply wind up on a practice squad somewhere.

Every year there are a few surprise names, however, that stick on the final roster.  The Ravens had a few surprises of their own last season, and this year won’t be an exception to that rule either.  Here are my favorite sleepers who might wind up on that list.

Next: Jeremy Butler
