Wide Receivers
In: Steve Smith Sr., Breshad Perriman, Kamar Aiken, Michael Campanaro, Darren Waller, Marlon Brown
Out: Aldrick Robinson, DeAndre Carter, Daniel Brown, Tom Nelson, Trent Steelman, Jeremy Butler
This one is tough, tough, tough. It’s extremely tempting to leave Marlon Brown off and sub Jeremy Butler in his place, but Butler’s impressive practice performances early in camp haven’t carried over from the spring.
Brown’s nagging injuries and general ho-hum performances might wind up changing that by week 1, however.
Waller, on the other hand, has been very impressive. I don’t think he would necessarily be on the roster bubble as a 6th round pick anyway, but he’s been better than expected.
Campanaro has to stay healthy, because the Ravens need him as a returner. Carter has also cooled off after a hot spring, but still has time to make an impression.
The Ravens have kept seven wide receivers on the roster each of the last two seasons, so Carter or Butler might still have a shot regardless.
