Nothing changes here from our last prediction. While everyone and their sister is praying that the Ravens suddenly decide to cut Kyle Boller…er…Matt Schaub and promote Bryn Renner to #2, it isn’t going to happen.

The Ravens carried three quarterbacks only over John Harbaugh’s first two seasons at the helm, which also happened to be Joe Flacco’s rookie and sophomore seasons. It hasn’t happened since, as the five consecutive seasons that have followed have seen the Ravens keep only two quarterbacks on their final roster.

Don’t expect that trend to change in 2015. As bad as Schaub has been this preseason, the Ravens already have guaranteed money invested in him and he at least provides a veteran voice. Let’s just all band together and pray that he never sees the field in 2015 unless it’s for mop up duty in some blowout wins.
