5 comebacks when arguing with a Ravens Hater

Comeback #3:
“Flacco made more history than you actually know.”
Oh the infamous “Joe Flacco isn’t elite” folks. I’ll be the first to say, Joe is a top 10 quarterback in the league, statistically. I’m still waiting for the 4500+ yard and 95+ quarterback rating season. It’s coming.
But… Joe Flacco is without a doubt the best Quarterback to have ever put on a Baltimore Ravens uniform. But I want to make an observation on Joe’s best performance to date: the 2012 Super Bowl run.
Joe Flacco tied Joe Montana’s record of 11 touchdowns and 0 interceptions in a postseason. But there’s one caveat that fails to get mentioned in that comparison. Joe had to do it on the road and in 4 games.
That’s 2 times in enemy’s territory where the distraction level is higher and 4 more quarters of the possibility of an interception or worse, a loss. I think that speaks a bit more volume than doing it in 3 games, 2 at home, with a star Hall of Fame wide receiver.

But hey here’s a cool fact. Both Joe’s won the Super Bowl in the Superdome the year they set the record. Flacco just happened to one-up Montana when you look at it a bit more in depth.
