Week 8: vs. Chargers

ESPN: Chargers 31, Ravens 28 (4-4)

Ebony Bird: Ravens 27, Chargers 26 (5-3)

Finally, we disagree!  This won’t be an easy game by any means, and it promises to be a close one like last year’s matchup.  But the Ravens need this win as they get ready to head into the bye, and I expect them to be motivated to make it happen.

Week 10: vs. Jaguars

ESPN: Ravens 24, Jaguars 20 (5-4)

Ebony Bird: Ravens 31, Jaguars 17 (6-3)

The Jaguars played the Ravens tough last year, but I have less confidence in them than ESPN does.  The Ravens are on a 6-0 run against the Jags in Baltimore, and the talent gap between these two teams is too big to ignore.

Week 11: vs. Rams

Sep 3, 2015; St. Louis, MO, USA; St. Louis Rams quarterback Nick Foles (5) drops back to pass against the Kansas City Chiefs during the first half at the Edward Jones Dome. Mandatory Credit: Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

ESPN: Ravens 16, Rams 6 (6-4)

Ebony Bird: Ravens 17, Rams 13 (7-3)

The Rams have a talented defense and a new quarterback, plus we have to wonder if running back Todd Gurley will be 100% by this game.  They could do very well this year, if their horrible offensive line can pass protect and open holes in the running game.  Then again, they might not.  And who is Foles going to throw to?
