Cheers: Asa Jackson gives the Ravens a chance at a win
Asa Jackson hasn’t exactly been the most popular player among Ravens fans, and he has found himself cut twice by two different teams this season before landing on the Ravens practice squad and later getting called up to the active roster.

Despite his deficiencies playing the cornerback position, Jackson has always been a fairly proficient special teams player where he has been known to make a play every now and then. He made a big one on Monday night, single handedly putting the Ravens right back in position to tie the game at the end.
The Cardinals had a comfy 26-10 lead and were set to punt when Jackson came flying up the middle and blocked the attempt. It was recovered by Raheem Mostert, himself a recent waiver acquisition, and downed at the one yard line. Joe Flacco was able to hit Kyle Juszczyk for the touchdown right afterward.
