8. A Blocked Punt Sparks A Comeback

The Baltimore Ravens 17 point fourth quarter comeback against the Seattle Seahawks is one of the signature moments in the team’s history. It was all started by Ed Reed who blocked a punt and scored a touchdown. Reed came flying across the line of scrimmage as he had perfectly timed the snap count. He then launched towards the football as the punter began to swing his leg. Reed blocked the punt, scooped it up and scored a touchdown. It was one of the most emotion changing plays I have ever seen. Baltimore rocked their stadium as the fans announced the Seahawks that their team wasn’t going away.

The Ravens won the game 44-41. It was one of the most incredible games in NFL history. The electricity of the moment was indescribable. That was the kind of magic that Reed could produce. The how did he do that plays were routine with the future inductee of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Reed was the kind of player that people will be talking about 50 years from now as the greatest of all time at his position. Like you hear stories about guys like Johnny Unitas and Raymond Berry, you will one day hear the legend of Reed.

Here is a spoiler alert, this is not the only play the number 20 has on this list; but that shouldn’t really come as a surprise.
