The 2016 NFL Draft Is Unpredictable

Are you ready for the 2016 NFL Draft? One thing I love about the NFL Draft, we have no clue about the NFL Draft. For me, that’s a good thing, it allows me to talk about something  like I have a clue. Teams keep things so close to the vest that we have no idea who they have on top of there draft boards or the direction they will go. That being said it is always fun to guess, so here we go.

We can pretty much guess for sure that the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles are taking quarterbacks. They traded a lot a way, they’re going to take their franchise quarterback.

This is were it get’s interesting San Diego can go in any direction because they have so many need that they can go in any direction. So for the sake of this conversation I have them taking Laremy Tunsil. You just paid Phillip Rivers a bunch of money, so protecting him with the top tackle in the draft is what they’ll do.

I have the Cowboys taking Ezekiel Elliott. Their offensive line is one of the best in the NFL and they almost missed DeMarco Murray as much as they did Tony Romo last season. Elliott can give them a very quick fix and take care of their running game from day one.

I said last year that the Raiders were going to win games that nobody thought they would win, I didn’t think our Ravens would have been one of them. The Jaguars are going to be good in 2016 with a young core of talent. Hopefully the Ravens beat them though.  We might forget that they took Fowler Jr. last year who got hurt in training camp. Putting him with Myles Jack in the linebacker group could make the defense very talented.

Now for our beloved Ravens. If we do not trade back , we have Joey Bosa, Jalen Ramsey, and Ronnie Stanley. All three  of these players can fill a void. It is worth noting that we paid Eugene Monroe a bunch of money and when he is on the field he plays well. The Ravens don’t need to draft Stanley

In the state of the Ravens press conference, Steve Bisciotti said pointed out the need for pass rushers. I don’t see us going there with this pick. The Ravens have been in defensive backfield rebuild mode for a while now and we still are. This is why I see us taking Jalen Ramsey with our sixth pick.

This is the stud impact player we haven’t had the luxury of drafting for a long time. Since we’re here we will take what we need the most. Ramsey is someone who will start from day one. With help from Eric Weddle, he will thrive and make an impact.
