Joe Flacco Has A Career Year

Much has been made about the physical and mental hurdles that Flacco faces coming back from a grueling injury. What people have not brought into the conversation is how this will motivate the Ravens quarterback. Flacco had the end of the 2016 season, taken away from him. Tough rehab is how he has been trying to get football back into his life. This has to motivate him to make every single pass count. Could this help us get the best possible performance from Flacco.

More from Ravens News

In 2014 Flacco threw for a career high 27 touchdowns and had just 12 interceptions. The theme if you have not noticed is getting back to what worked before the 2015 train wreck. Flacco and the Ravens lit up the Steelers in Pittsburgh. They went to New England and put the Patriots on the brink of a playoff exit. It was not too long ago, that success can be duplicated and even built on.

Flacco now has weapons. Smith Sr. is coming back. Breshad Perriman is expected to play. Mike Wallace is going to stretch the field. Wallace was the perfect receiver to bring in for Flacco. Ben Watson, Crockett Gillmore, possibly even Dennis Pitta will contribute at the tight end position. Oh and did I mention the big bodied Maxx Williams? The Ravens have tons of talent. It’s time to get the most out of it. It’s time for Flacco to deliver like he did in his Super Bowl run.
