5. Mike Flynn

It is important to note that Mike Flynn made the list on a technicality. While he has tried out for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New England Patriots, he has only actually played for the Ravens. Flynn was an undrafted free agent who the Ravens cut in 1997. The Ravens cut him and resigned him after it did not work out with the Buccaneers and Jaguars practice squads.

In 1998 Flynn made the improbable happen, becoming a starter for the Ravens offensive line. Flynn played right guard and center for the Ravens. He ended up being one of the Ravens better players and stayed with the team until 2007.

Flynn was an excellent run blocker, who was a part of some very solid offensive line units. Flynn was with the Ravens for their first Super Bowl run and also Jamal Lewis’s 2,066 yard season in 2003. Flynn is on this list because the Ravens were the only team that gave him a real chance. He never played a snap for the other three teams he tried out for; making him technically count as a player who played his whole career with one team.
