Bad Season Gave 6 Young Ravens A Chance To Grow
Zach Orr
With all the injuries, everyone was on deck. This included Zach Orr who got much more playing time than he had in his rookie year of 2014. Orr went from 8 tackles to 22 tackles and a sack. He took advantage of his time on the field. The impressive thing about Orr is that he is a sure tackler. 24 of his 30 career tackles have been solo tackles. Orr knows how to find the football, avoid the trash and make plays. While he is an instinctive player, Orr got better with every rep that he got.

The inside linebacker situation is an interesting one for the Ravens. Orr put himself in a conversation to get the job. At the moment it looks like the Ravens second round selection, Kamalei Correa is the guy to start next to C.J. Mosley. Orr proved himself last season and I can’t imagine him not making the team.
Orr is still a young player. He could be a starting linebacker, he showed that he has the ability to do this. However Orr probably fits best as a quality back up and a good special teams player. Orr is a player to watch because he just keeps getting better and better.
