3. Who Steps Up At The Running Back Position?

At the last open practice it was Terrance West who shined the brightest. West has gained a ton of excitement from the fans. He is a Towson Football product and Baltimore is naturally rooting for him. The running back competition is tight and West is making it tighter. If West puts on a show again, he may make progress in his quest to make the team.

The running back that I want to see the most is Kenneth Dixon. Dixon has been hampered by a minor knee injury, but he is back to the action. The rookie running back from Louisiana Tech has dazzling ability. He can make you miss in the open field and he has surprising power. The Ravens have talented running backs, but Dixon may be the one who really has a chance to be a star.

With Forsett, Buck Allen, Dixon, West and Lorenzo Taliaferro vying for spots on this team, the running back position is where the intrigue is. These players need to perform every day in practice. The competition is fierce. Tonight we can catch a glimpse of how this battle for positioning is going.
