2. Willie Henry:

Willie Henry, was a fourth round draft pick. The defensive tackle from Michigan has his work cut out for him because the Ravens have great depth at the defensive line. Henry had a great final year at Michigan with 34 tackles and 6.5 sacks. Henry played college football for Jim Harbaugh. It’s hard to imagine that the Harbaugh brothers didn’t talk about this player before the draft.

Last night during the game Willie Henry was seemingly always in the backfield. One of his weaknesses according to scouts was his ability to stop the run, which he did with ease last night. He was also able to get pressure on the quarterback in pass rush situations. Henry passes the eye test; he looks like the real deal. Given the chance, could develop into a great NFL player.

Henry is someone who needed to impress, as his best case scenario for the 2016 season is playing second-string behind Defensive End Timmy Jernigan. That being said he could develop into a starting caliber player. Henry had three tackles with one tackle for a loss in the win against the Panthers. While that’s not going to stand out on any box score, it’s a step in the right direction to get Henry on the coach’s radar and ultimately secure himself a spot on the 53-man roster.
