Finally, Breshad Perriman Has Been Taken Off The PUP List:

Head Coach John Harbaugh announced today that wide receiver Breshad Perriman had been activated off of the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list today. According to reports, he will participate with the team in the walkthrough practice tonight.

Perriman returns about two months after partially tearing his ACL in OTAs. It was feared he would be out for the season again, but Dr. James Andrews gave him a stem cell injection and told him to rest until mid-August. His return is a week after the prediction, but we’re not complaining.

Perriman offers something that no other receiver on the roster can, an ideal combination of size and speed. He’s easily the fastest player on the roster and excels at creating separation at the top of his route. He’s an exceptional talent, with the potential of a Julio Jones or Dez Bryant.

While he hasn’t been fully cleared as of yet, the team would like to see what they have in the young receiver in one or both of the preseason games that are left. If he can play, Coach Harbaugh wants him out there.

The Ravens now look dangerous at wide receiver, with both Steve Smith Sr. and Perriman back. Kamar Aiken and new addition Mike Wallace are in line to get plenty of snaps this season and have looked very sharp this offseason. Rookie Chris Moore and third year player Jeremy Butler have impressed in practice and the two preseason games thus far. Finally, Michael Campanaro looks to be fully healthy and a difference maker at punt returner and slot receiver.
