2. Michael Pierce

The most impressive play of the entire game was when Michael Pierce bull rushed his way to the quarterback and ended up with the ball in the end zone. Pierce pushed the pocket on multiple plays. He ended up with two tackles, a sack and a touchdown scoring fumble. Pierce had an impact throughout the game. It was fun to watch, this game clearly meant everything to the 339 pound rookie from Samford.

The Ravens have a ton of competition at the defensive line. Pierce could still be on the outside looking in. It will all boil down to the numbers game. Pierce did everything he could in his last chance to shine. The most impressive thing about it was his bull rush. He has a lot of burst and he is relentless. When you pack that much explosive power into someone that big, good things can happen on the football field.

Pierce is a player to root for in the next couple of days. The rookie defensive tackle showed how much potential he has. It would be very nice to see such a talented young player get a chance to grow in the NFL.
