1. Josh Johnson

It’s hard to fathom that as good as Johnson has played this preseason, he may not make the team. Johnson added a 181 yard performance to his resume today, Johnson went an efficient 18-24 passing and he looked sharp. When training camp began it would shock you if anyone but Ryan Mallet was the back up to Joe Flacco. Now it seems almost unfair if Johnson doesn’t get the job. He has looked the best this preseason.

The Ravens never keep more than two quarterbacks going into the season. This is a back up quarterback battle that will be decided quickly. Remember, John Harbaugh and company must make the 53 man roster by 4 pm on Saturday,

At the end of the day, Johnson provides the Ravens with something that Mallet doesn’t. Johnson is a mobile quarterback. Johnson is also someone who seems to get better and better. We know who Ryan Mallet is. Johnson can continue to improve though.
