Injuries are uncontrollable, but you have to wonder if this will be a continuous problem for Perriman. A “knee bruise” kept Perriman out of the 2015 season. He then partially tore his ACL this offseason. Getting banged up is part of football season and missing a practice or two throughout the season isn’t usually a big deal.
It is not time to freak out. If Perriman is back in practice tomorrow, any hysteria this story creates would look pretty silly. If Perriman plays on Sunday, nobody will care that he missed practice on a Wednesday.
