Baltimore Won’t Be Building From Scratch:

The good news for Baltimore is that they can accomplish a lot this offseason. No team is perfect. The Ravens have a handful of needs. If they take care of a few of them, they will be as solid as any team in the NFL. John Harbaugh is used to winning, and he works well with Ozzie Newsome and Eric DeCosta. Keeping the band together will allow the franchise to keep building on the foundation they have all put in place.

Baltimore is used to winning. Last season wasn’t fun. Things have gone down hill since the Super Bowl victory in the 2012 season. These are all things that can’t be argued with. Another thing that cannot be argued with is, that this season is much different from last season. 2015 was embarrassing and unacceptable. 2016 has been frustrating, but heading into week 15 winning the division is still a possibility.

Assuming the Steve Bisciotti does not decide to blow everything up, the Ravens owner has a nucleus in place. John Harbaugh is the coach. We know what we’re getting from him, the good and the bad. Joe Flacco is the quarterback. Hopefully we will find out that Flacco isn’t spoiled goods next season; either way the purple and black are financially committed to him until 2021. Dean Pees and a pretty solid core should remain defensively.
