Vincent Jackson

Vincent Jackson fits the mold of the receiver the Ravens are looking for, but he is not a good option.

After having three 1,000 yard seasons from 2012-2014, Jackson has struggled as of recently. The emergence of Mike Evans overshadowed Jackson, limiting his production. To make matters worse, his 2016 season was cut short because a torn ACL he suffered in October against the Panthers.

It seems like Jackson’s career is all about over. At the age of 34, coming back from an ACL is very difficult to do. The last thing the Ravens should do is take a chance on a veteran free agent receiver that is coming off of injury. They are already going to be thin a the position going into next season. The team needs a different veteran receiver who can come in and contribute immediately.
