3. Adrian Peterson:

We know Peterson can be a productive player in a purple uniform. Since he came into the league in 2007 he’s been running people over. Peterson’s Pro Football Reference reads like it happened in a video game. There has been a lot of wear and tear on Peterson. Two of the past two seasons he has suffered season stealing injuries. You can bet against Peterson, but I won’t. Peterson may be the most determined runner the NFL has ever seen. There are two running backs that I think of as the greatest in my life time. Ladanian Tomlinson is one, Peterson is the second. It would be nice to see the ravens give Peterson a chance to show that he isn’t done.

The Ravens don’t need Peterson to be a guy who completely is the running game. Kenneth Dixon isn’t going anywhere. Dixon is going to be a star. He is too talented not to have an incredible career. Peterson is the perfect powerful compliment to Dixon. If Peterson is healthy for 16 games, he may even be the feature back.

Whatever role Peterson would take would be a game changer for the Ravens. The 2016 Ravens lacked any sort of balance in their offense. The Ravens would have had more balance if Chester the Cheetah was calling plays and Cheetos was the play call every time. To me, an investment in a running back makes a ton of sense. Dalvin Cook isn’t falling to the 16th spot. I have Cooked ranked as the fourth best player available on my personal big board. If the Ravens want to add a running back, Peterson is a viable option.
