2. Pierre Garcon:

I was calling for the Ravens to target Garcon months ago. Garcon makes so much sense for the Ravens it would actually be surprising if it did not happen. Garcon is a receiver who is 30 years old, coming off a 79 reception season, where does Mr. Newsome sign? It may not be a lock but this is the most logical pick up for the Ravens. The signing of Garcon would be very much like the signing of Derrick Mason.

Garcon is a possession wide receiver, and a guy Flacco could lean on. With Garcon in the lineup, Breshad Perriman and Mike Wallace are not bad complementary pieces to the Ravens receiving group. Garcon has had back to back seasons with over 70 receptions. On day one, Garcon would be the most reliable receiver on the Ravens.

The Ravens need play-makers on the offense. They cannot go into the NFL Draft without adding at least one offensive weapon. If the Ravens want it to work with Joe Flacco under center, he does need people to throw the football to. Garcon would be a great signing for the purple and black.
