There are options in free agency

Wagner may leave in free agency, but the Ravens can look on the free agent market to find his replacement. There are veteran options that they could find for a much cheaper price. One of these options could be recently released tackle D.J. Fluker.

Fluker makes a lot of sense for the Ravens. He is a young at the age of 25 and provides versatility on the offensive line. He has played both right guard and tackle during his time in San Diego. His physicality and work ethic fits perfectly for the Ravens and he would slot right next to Marshal Yanda or Alex Lewis. He played his college football at the University of Alabama and general manager Ozzie Newsome has close ties to the school. Also, if they can sign him, it would not count against their compensatory picks for next season because he was released.

New players are getting released by the minute so the situation can change at any time. There are also veterans like Sebastian Vollmer, Breno Giacomini, and Marshall Newhouse, who the Ravens could try to go after. The Ravens have shown that they can go after big free agents when they need to, so do not count out the possibility of signing a player to replace Rick Wagner.
