NFL Free Agency is one of the most fun times of the year. The shaping of the 2017 NFL teams is just beginning. The AFC North had some of the most interesting story lines in this important week. Here is a Ravens perspective on it all.

1. The Steelers don’t have the money to get better in free agency:

So far the Steelers haven’t done much in free agency. According to reports, they have re-signed Landry Jones. All the Steelers money is tied up with Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell. Pittsburgh probably wouldn’t have it any other way. They get to keep three of the best players in the NFL. Those three players were the Steelers’ major push to the AFC Championship Game.

In the NFL though do you ever stay the same. The Steelers could still make some moves. It’s not like they have no money at all to play around with. That being said, the Ravens got better and are headed for the NFL Draft to solve their other issues. The Steelers will make one or two signings at the most and have more work to do in the NFL Draft. Pittsburgh’s big three is so good, that it’s easy to forget that an 8-8 Ravens team was this close to being AFC North champions.
