Saying goodbye to Pitta would have been devastating. If you asked me who my favorite Ravens tight end of all time was, it would be a dead even tie between Todd Heap and Pitta. Pitta has meant so much to this team. When you hear “Play like a Raven,” just think about the guy who everyone thought was finished and caught 86 passes any way.

Pitta could have quit. Pitta probably should have retired. It was the logical thing to do after suffering the same horrible injury twice. Pitta kept working. Out of sight and out of mind, Pitta gave everything he had to continuing his career. He made it back, and played a huge role in 2016. Pitta is all heart. Pitta is an example for the rest of the team, especially the young players. There is no other way to say it, Pitta is the man.

The Ravens made the right move bringing Pitta back. They get the same player at a much better price. Pitta is special to Baltimore. He belongs here.
