2. Zach Orr:

It’s heartbreaking that injury has forced Zach Orr to retire. He came into the 2016 season having to earn a starting job next to C.J. Mosley. Not only did Orr become a starting linebacker, but he was one of the best linebackers in the league. 2016 was his shot to shine, and he did just that.

He had 132 tackles, three interceptions and a forced fumble in the 2016 campaign. He had all but 30 of his 162 career tackles in that season. Orr was one of the most aggressive linebackers that I have ever seen. He was ferocious and he hit like a hammer. C.J. Mosley went to the Pro Bowl, and it was a legitimate argument, which linebacker was the best.

Orr’s career ended way too soon. He could have been one of the greats. His career was so promising. However, Ravens fans didn’t know that Orr was going to be this good. The former undrafted free agent out of North Texas, proved a ton of people wrong.
