1. Malik Hooker S (Ohio State)

Ever since Matt Elam, I have become pickier and pickier with safety prospects in the NFL Draft. In the 2017 NFL Draft, Malik Hooker is getting a ton of hype. I have heard so many comparisons to Ed Reed, that it’s almost become deafening. Hooker does seem to be special but the sample size is really small.

With his one season as a starter with the Ohio State Buckeyes, he had seven interceptions and scored three touchdowns on interception returns. He seems to be a ball-hawk. The Ravens are probably out of the market for a safety in this draft, after signing Tony Jefferson. Whatever team drafts Hooker, they’re going to have to feel comfortable with very little game tape on him.
