2017 NFL Draft: Here are the players the Baltimore Ravens must target on the second night of the action.

The 1st round of the NFL Draft has been and gone and it was certainly full of surprises. Several players fell a lot further than we thought they would, lots of people went higher than we thought and a number of trades shook up the entire round.

The Ravens solidified their secondary but what is left for them going into Day 2 and the 2nd and 3rd Round?

Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina

Zay Jones is my number 4 overall receiver in the draft. I love everything about this guy.

In his career at Eastern Carolina he broke the FBS record for receptions in a career. Admittedly, a lot of that came on quick screen passes and short crossing routes. Nevertheless, to actually be used like that is a testament to his skill. He ran good routes, he has good hands and he seemed to be a great slot prospect.

However, at the Senior Bowl he showed an ability to make every catch, run every route and play any of the receiver roles. Then, at the combine, he silenced critics saying he wasn’t that fast when he ran a 4.45 second 40-yard dash.

Now, as far as I’m concerned, he is a complete receiver. He will be able to play wide or slot, he’ll be able to create separation on his routes and he will catch anything thrown his way. I would love to combine his skill set with the speed of Perriman and Wallace, he is a great compliment to them and would be a great addition for Joe Flacco and the offense.
