The Cincinnati Bengals Draft Grade:

General Manager. Mike Brown. CINCINNATI BENGALS. B+. Taking John Ross with the ninth pick was a really big risk, but the upside made it a great pick. The bottom line is that an offense with A.J. Green and Ross is going to be an explosive one. Add a healthy Tyler Eifert and it’s not even fair. The Bengals added two of the best edge players in the draft in Jordan Willis and Carl Lawson. Lawson was a complete steal; they got a second round talent in the fourth round. Joe Mixon is the most controversial player in the draft but the investment could be a high payoff for the Bengals. Mixon is a first round talent, though I took him off my board after hearing the news of another incident in high school. J.J. Dielman in the fifth round was an incredible value. If he is healthy, he will be a starter when they open the season against the Ravens.
