3. Who Will Step Up In The Passing Game?

We know two things about the Ravens passing attack. First, Joe Flacco is the quarterback. Second, their isn’t a ton of star power involved around Flacco. Mike Wallace and Breshad Perriman are the most proven commodities at wide receiver. Perriman has just 33 receptions in the NFL, so that says a lot about the Ravens passing game. If healthy, Michael Campanaro is going to be an exciting player. It’s hard not to like what Campanaro can do, but it’s harder to expect him to stay on the field. The Ravens are going to need somebody to step up. Who will it be?

A trade or a free agent signing is not out of the question. This just shows you how little we know about the Ravens offense. Further offseason moves could change everything. That’s a comforting thought in March. It’s a startling idea in May. For the sanity of the fan base, you have to hope Perriman can become a number one receiver. It doesn’t seem likely based on what we’ve seen. That said, he is the only receiver on the roster with the potential to be a number one wide receiver.
