3. Kenneth Dixon

The former Louisiana Tech running back has been capturing the anticipation of the Ravens faithful for a full calendar year. It’s so easy to see the potential. Dixon has moves on top of moves; he has the skills to be a serious weapon out of the backfield. The anticipation for him to have a breakout performance will build in the first part of the season. That’s because Dixon is suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season. In week 5, all eyes will be on number 30.

Dixon missed the first four games of the 2016 season due to injury. Let’s hope starting his season in week 5 doesn’t become a trend. Dixon has speed, agility, vision and a good bit of power. He runs with a low center of gravity and he can always make something happen. The Ravens running back situation is unclear going into the 2017 season. We still have to see who will be the featured back when it’s all said and done. Will it be Dixon or Terrance West.

The big play potential from Dixon is obvious. It’s worth noting that the Ravens didn’t give him a ton of chances last season. One are where he did well was as a pass catcher. He had 30 receptions for 162 yards and a touchdown. When he gets into the open field anything is possible. That’s why Dixon is an important guy to keep an eye on. That’s why he’s exciting.
