How will the Ravens adjust to Tavon Young’ season ending knee injury?

Baltimore Ravens second-year cornerback Tavon Young tore his ACL today on a non-contact injury, per baltimoreravens.com.

This comes a big blow to the secondary. The Ravens were expecting Young to pick up where he left off his rookie season and be a full time starter for the team. An aspiring slot corner, Young’s loss is a heavy blow to this team.

Fortunately, GM Ozzie Newsome is more than prepared for something like this. The offseason signing of veteran cornerback Brandon Carr and drafting Alabama’s cornerback Marlon Humphrey should soften the blow at cornerback.
