We’re getting back to the Ravens Legends Bracket. Today we will be wrapping up the second round and recapping what has happened so far:
We got away from the Legends Bracket. The point of the Legends Bracket was to get us through the dog days of the offseason with some entertainment. The Ravens then got busy in this usually news-free stretch of the year. After two of their stars got hurt (Dennis Pitta and Tavon Young) they made a few moves, including the signing of Jeremy Maclin. All of the sudden there was a lot to talk about. Now we get back to our tournament, which pins the best Ravens of all-time against each other.

The second round has had some pretty incredible match-ups. The first contest between Todd Heap and Jamal Lewis was one that pulled every conceivable heart string. Lewis edged out the best tight end in Ravens history. Then Justin Tucker kicked his way past Ray Rice. There weren’t a ton of surprising results. The one seeds (Ray Lewis, Jonathan Ogden, Ed Reed and Terrell Suggs) all passed through without question. There were however some contests that made it hard on the Ebony Bird team (the voters).
So let’s go through the four regions of our Legends Bracket and announce the winners. This will leave us with 16 legends remaining.
