2. Justin Tucker is their best player:

It’s impossible not to love Justin Tucker, but wouldn’t it be nice if the best player on the Ravens wasn’t a kicker? Wouldn’t it be nice if Tucker wasn’t the top star on the team. It’s getting to the point where Tucker is the face of the team. You have to appreciate Tucker, he’s building a case for being the best kicker of all-time. His teammates need to step up. We need to see Tucker kick less field goals and more extra points.

Without a doubt Tucker was the Ravens MVP in 2017. The only missed field goal he had was a blocked kick. The Ravens only scored 32 touchdowns while Tucker scored 114 points on 38 field goals. When a kicker is the MVP of your team, credit the kicker but ask for more out of the offense. Tucker needs to keep on doing his thing, but he must be dethroned as the team’s MVP. It would be nice to talk about a touchdown scoring machine the same way we count on the field goal scoring machine that is Justin Tucker. Maybe that can be Jeremy Maclin, Flacco or Breshad Perriman.

The point is that six is greater than three. The job description of the offense is to score points. It shouldn’t be good enough just to get to the 30 yard line and point to the kicker. The end zone must be a well traveled destination for the Ravens in 2017.
