10. Fear the Beard 32

There is no more glorious beard in the NFL, than that of Eric Weddle. If he is your favorite player on the purple and black, this is the best way to honor him. Weddle is one of the best safeties in the NFL. He has wide range and he hits like a hammer. Last season Weddle joined the Ravens and made a huge impact on the defense. This year the Ravens signed Tony Jefferson to be his partner in punishing quarterbacks. The back end of the Ravens defense will be a strength again. That is certainly something to celebrate.

Weddle had a strong 2016 season. He had 89 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and four interceptions. Weddle was a game changer for the Ravens. He will continue to be the leader for the secondary but now he has more help. Not only did Jefferson come on board, the Ravens signed Brandon Carr and drafted Marlon Humphrey. The Ravens may even get Jaylen Hill into the mix as an undrafted free agent.

Eric Weddle has a great beard and he is a great player. This team name makes a lot of sense. If you rock a beard, it even makes it that much cooler.
