2. January Joe’s Only:

We all know that Joe Flacco in the regular season doesn’t match Joe Flacco in the playoffs. For whatever reason, January launches Flacco into the elite stratosphere. This team name kind of sends a message to the Ravens franchise quarterback to play like January Joe all year long. Plus it’s ultimately a joke, so it’s lighthearted fun.

1.  The Year of 52:

The Ravens are trying to get to Super Bowl 52. Ray Lewis was number 52 from 1996-2012 with the Baltimore Ravens. Ray Lewis is most likely going to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame next August. We’ll find out if Lewis is a finalist around the time of the Super Bowl. It just seems like the Ravens could be the team of destiny. Especially if the Ravens defense is what carries the team to the promise land.
