5. Where were the receivers?

If you were a young receiver trying to make the Ravens 53 man roster, you did not help your cause. How do I know that? I know that because the receivers were almost a non-factor in the receiving game. The Ravens only completed 16 passes in the entire game and six of them were caught by Mizzell. Chris Moore led the way with two receptions for 16 yards. It was unbelievable how the Ravens lacked production from their wide receivers.

This wasn’t a good look for players like Keenan Reynolds, Quincy Adeboyejo or Chris Matthews. This wasn’t a game where bubble players proved themselves as wide receivers. To make matters worse for Reynolds his only punt return went for four yards. Reynolds may have been on the outside looking in before the game started. He was a non-factor in the game.

The Baltimore Ravens offense wasn’t exciting in this game. The passing game was as stale as donuts that have been sitting out in the open for two days. The wide receivers simply made no impact on the game.
