Baltimore Ravens: Best-case, worst-case scenarios for 2017 season

As excited as we all may be for our Baltimore Ravens this season, it is really important to remember that while the team can have a huge year, they can just as easily have a terrible one.

Let’s get excited, Ravens Flock. The 2017 season is less than two weeks away now! And while the offense has looked bad, remember that Joe Flacco hasn’t been involved. That unit will be much improved upon his return.

The defense, meanwhile, continues to turn heads and exceed expectations. We might just be able to witness one of the best defenses the Ravens have ever put together. How exciting is that?

Now with all of this in mind, we have to wonder, just how good can the Ravens be this year? One must also ask, “just how bad could the Ravens be this year?” Because let’s be honest, plenty of things could go wrong and we could suffer through another heartbreaking season, like we did in 2015.

In the same sense, the Ravens could have another magical run this season and find a way to make the playoffs. Once Baltimore gets in the playoffs, we all know that they can run the table and put together a magical year.

Will the offense be good enough to win games, or will it cripple the entire team? Will the defense exceed expectations, or will the defense disappoint and under achieve? Can the Ravens win 12 games or will they lose 12 games? These are some questions that every Ravens fan has to have on their mind.
