Joe Schiller (Site Expert) Ravens 16-10

Like many people predict, this is going to be a close game. The Ravens haven’t had luck at Paul Brown Stadium, but that is going to change Sunday. They are out to prove pundits wrong and will take this game 16-10.

The Ravens offense isn’t going to be pretty, I don’t think anyone is expecting them to light things out. Almost every position has a question mark heading into this game. It’s going to be very similar to the opener last season where we see the offense score a touchdown and then rely on Justin Tucker’s leg to get the job done. And with the way the Ravens defense is built this season, that’s all they need to do.

It doesn’t seem like many people outside of Baltimore respect this defense, but that will be different come Sunday. They are solid up front and deep with talent. The cornerback position has some room for concern, but I’m confident with Jimmy Smith and Brandon Carr on the outside. I don’t think the defense pitches a shutout, but they’ll come pretty darn close.

The team that wins this game is going to be the team that limits the mistakes. Early on in the season, offenses can be prone to turnovers. An average, no mistake, offense is all this team needs to pull out the win on Sunday. Led by Tucker’s three field goals, the Ravens pull this one out.
