The offense around Kizer:

The Browns really tried to get Isaiah Crowell involved into this offense. Crowell got a heavy workload early in the game, but the Steelers forced it to be the Kizer show. Crowell hits the hole quick and the offensive line created some impressive paths for him. Ultimately the running game of the Browns wasn’t that impressive on the stats sheet. On 17 carries, Crowell had just 33 yards. If the Ravens can make the Browns one dimensional, they can get big plays with their pass rush and their opportunistic secondary.

The biggest play-maker the Browns have is Corey Coleman, who had five receptions for 53 yards and a score against Pittsburgh. Seth Davalve was the second most prominent member of the passing game. Rookie tight end, David Njoku had two receptions for twenty yards. It would be wise for the Browns to get him more involved. He is the best match-up problem the Browns have.

The Browns offensive line was more impressive than a seven sack game usually suggests. Don’t get me wrong there were a lot of problems caused by the Steelers front seven, but the sacks biggest culprit was the quarterback himself. Kizer held on to the ball too long, too often. The Ravens front seven should have a chance to get the job done. The Browns offensive line is better than that of Cincinnati, but it obviously has to work out the kinks.
