Baltimore Ravens: 3 knee-jerk reactions after Week 3 loss
By Joe Schiller
The road gets even tougher from here on out
I’d like to say things will get easier from the Ravens from here on out, but it’s the complete opposite. These first three games were considered to be the easy part of the schedule. Now, the Ravens head back to Baltimore to host the Steelers on Sunday and travel to Oakland to take on the Raiders the following week. That’s a scary thought after seeing how this team performed on Sunday.
Aside from the Bears, there’s not a game coming up where I can feel completely confident about the Ravens right now. I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the Ravens were 2-3 heading into Week 6. The Steelers and Raiders are both playing some of their best football right now.

The Ravens won’t technically be on short rest this upcoming week, but they’ll still have to adjust to jet lag and the time change. The decision to not take the bye week following this game was a tough decision, but one the Ravens felt confident in doing. It will be interesting to see how that ends up playing out. But if there’s any way to bounce back from an embarrassing loss, it’s coming back to beat your arch rival.
