2. Mike Wallace:

Here is how it goes. Mike Wallace calls for the ball. Mike Wallace drops the ball. This has been his season in a nutshell. Wallace has been a frustrating player because he can do better. Wallace had over 1,000 yards last year. Do you know how many receiving yards he has this year? He has 76 receiving yards. In four games last season Wallace had more yards than he has in the first four games of the season combined. That’s an unacceptable statistic.

The Ravens passing game has been nonexistent this season. Baltimore has the worst statistical passing game in the NFL. Wallace is a veteran wide receiver who needs to be a go to target. He isn’t doing anything right. Wallace is hardly getting open. He dropped what would have been a big passing play when he was wide open against the Steelers. Wallace doesn’t even look like the same player this year. He’s on pace to have the worst seasons of his career and his stint with Minnesota went pretty poorly.

I get that the passing game wasn’t exactly high flying last year but Wallace did well. This year Wallace has done next to nothing. That drop against the Steelers was costly. Nothing was going the Ravens way. It could have sparked the team, instead Wallace let the Ravens down. I like Wallace. He has been nothing but a class act since coming to Baltimore. I want to see him do well. Right now, it’s impossible not be frustrated with him.
