1. Joe Flacco

Flacco has made more TV remotes, Ravens caps and pillows become projectiles more than any other player in Ravens history. It’s a line I’ve used before and it kind of summarizes the problem. When Flacco messes up, which seems to be an inevitability at this point, it is infuriating. One of the problems Flacco is having is that he is coming off as a guy that doesn’t care. I don’t think that is true, but his calm composure doesn’t help his reputation when things are going wrong. At this point it almost feels like we have to check the man’s vitals after every possession. The entire offense has his level of lethargy and that’s the problem.

Flacco is getting paid like a top tier quarterback. He is getting paid like an Aaron Rodgers, or a Ben Roethlisberger. The Ravens are glued to him because of a contract that has worked out horribly. The Flacco deal is bad. Flacco is bad. At one point Flacco was good, even great when it mattered most. Now he just becomes his own worst enemy.
