3. Alex Collins:

Alex Collins has been given 62 carries and he’s churned out 365 yards. He hasn’t coughed up a fumble in the past two games and is repeatedly showing that he is the best play-maker the Ravens have. He is averaging 5.9 yards per carry and in three games he his longest run has been at least 25 yards. The Ravens offense is completely void of play-makers in the passing game so this is incredible production from Collins.

Collins could be a cheap option for the Ravens moving forward. They could get a couple of good seasons from him, without breaking the bank. The only advantage to the coaching staff’s reluctance to make him the featured back is that Collins remains the Ravens’ little secret. The Ravens need to focus on the wide receiver and tight end positions. They need to find quarterback of the future as well. Unless they have a chance to get a true superstar in the backfield the Ravens should ride with Collins as their feature back.

Javorius Allen has been the main workhorse for the offense. Allen has had a good year but he lacks the spark that Collins can provide. It would be hard to object to a tandem of Collins and Allen moving forward. Collins, however must be the feature back. Collins may have found the right spot for his career to flourish, he has the chance to be truly special.
