2. Matt Judon:

Matt Judon is the next great Ravens linebacker. Sure, Tyus Bowser and Tim Williams have exciting potential, but Judon is the one that is impressing the most. Judon is getting consistent push off the edge and his pass rushing has been more impressive than his two sacks suggest. Judon also has 27 tackles on the season and is the best outside linebacker not named Suggs, at stopping the run. Against the Chicago Bears, Judon was in on 14 tackles, which is a pretty impressive day for any linebacker.

Bowser and Williams are young outside linebackers with incredible potential. I would be shocked if they didn’t become central figures to the Ravens defense in the coming years. One thing is certain though, Judon is the heir apparent to Suggs. Judon was a fourth round pick out of Grand Valley State. He is in his second season and he already is showing signs of greatness. The Ravens defense needs more players like Judon.

The strength of the Ravens is the defense and that won’t change without an overhaul on the offense. The defense has struggled but Judon hasn’t had one bad game this season. He is the most impressive young defensive player the purple and black have. Look for Judon to end up being one of the most important players moving forward.
